Ecowalker Light is a fully portable, inflatable LED field-lighting system. It packs into a single carry bag, deploys in minutes, runs on a standard 12V sealed battery, and lights a working practice space without generators, ladders, or permanent fixtures.

Technical specifications

Note on voltage: The LED module is built for stable 12V DC supply. Any voltage above 14V — such as a direct vehicle alternator feed while the engine is running — can damage internal electronics. Use the supplied battery and charger. If you need to run from a different power source, contact us first.

How setup works (the 90-second version)

1. Unpack and unfold the stanchion from the carry bag.
2. Open the three legs into their standing position.
3. Check the valve at the top of the stanchion is fully closed (anticlockwise).
4. Attach the pump hose to the INFLATE port and pump 8 full cycles (up and down counts as one). Screw the valve cap back on when done.
5. Seat the LED module on top of the inflated stanchion and fully tighten the butterfly bolt.
6. Stand the unit upright in position. Secure the legs with ground pegs on grass or sandbags on hard surfaces. In wind, add the guide lines.
7. Place the battery in its bag, hang the bag on the hook under the stanchion, then run the battery cable. Brown = positive, Blue = negative.
8. Connect the battery cable to the LED module and fasten the screw cap. The light comes on the moment the connection is made — there is no separate switch.

To pack up: reverse the steps, use the pump’s DEFLATE option to remove residual air, and slide the LED module into its protector cover before stowing.

Important safety notes

• Do not discard the inflated pocket protector that ships around the LED module. It’s part of the transit protection system.
• Always tighten the butterfly bolt fully before operating. The LED module is heavier than it looks.
• Use the battery bag. It keeps the sealed battery off the ground and insulated from what’s around it.
• Secure with guide lines in wind. The stanchion is inflatable — it catches the wind like any vertical structure.
• Guide lines are a trip hazard. Flag them or use cones in pedestrian areas.
• Always fully recharge after use. Sealed lead-acid batteries last significantly longer when not left discharged.
• Deflate before storage. Use the pump’s deflate option to remove residual air — stowing under pressure shortens fabric life.

Is Ecowalker Light waterproof?
Yes — IP65 rated. The LED module and connections are rain and dust resistant, built for real outdoor deployment. Pack it away if conditions turn severe (heavy sustained rain or submersion risk).

How long does the battery last on one charge?
Runtime depends on temperature, battery age, and how recently it was charged. The 14Ah sealed battery typically powers the 40W system for 3–4 hours per charge. Always start sessions with a fully charged battery.

Can I run Ecowalker Light from my car?
Only with caution. A car battery with the engine off is roughly 12.6V — safe. A running alternator can push 14.4V+, which exceeds Ecowalker Light’s safe range (14V max) and will damage the module. Use the supplied 12V sealed battery. Contact us before rigging alternative power.

Can I replace the battery myself?
Yes. The 14Ah 12V sealed lead-acid battery is a standard format. When it reaches end of life (typically 2–4 years depending on use), you can source a replacement locally. The warranty excludes the battery itself but covers all other components.

How many units do I need for a full soccer pitch?
Six units in a standard formation cover a full-size pitch (approx. 100m × 65m) at 3.5m height. For training sessions on half a pitch or smaller areas, two to three units are typically sufficient.

Is this a generator-style work light?
No. Work lights are designed for job sites — fixed position, mains power, bright but narrow beam. Ecowalker Light is designed for portable field use: freestanding inflatable support, battery-powered, wide 120° diffuse coverage for play and training, IP65 weatherproofing, tournament-safe connectors.
